From Mesnice Bašljan to PRIME CUT – Meat House

Mesnice Bašljan was founded in 1980 as a family business built on a love of meat and respect for traditional production. Over more than four decades we built a reputation as a reliable distributor of premium Croatian meat, working closely with small Croatian family farms.

To grow our visibility and competitiveness at home and abroad, since 2025 Mesnice Bašljan continues under a new name: PRIME CUT – Meat House. The name has changed; our commitment to quality, tradition and local producers has not.

We operate under the HACCP quality control system, which guarantees the safety of all products and full traceability and controlled origin of our meat.

Our goal is clear – to offer the Croatian food scene meat otherwise found only on the world's most prestigious menus.
